Klippan LADY OPEN 2012 – 10 000 LIVE Viewers

For three days we have wrestling action in Lady Open i Klippan. Almost 200 of the best lady wrestlers are participating from all over the world. 18 countries are represented. Of them we have 98 seniors (compared to last years 81). The global interest for the live broadcasts has been marvelous. More than 10000 viewers have followed the competitions LIVE on Qrodo.

Qrodo is Broadcasting basketball LIVE tomorrow from the qualifyer game between Sweden and Azerbajdzjan.

On Sunday the Swedish national team in Basketball won v.s. Albania with 68-57 and putting themselves in a position to qualify by winning the final group match v.s Azerbajdzjan. Take the opportunity to see a fresh, young Swedish team with Anton Gaddefors, Marrtin Pahlmblad, Anton Saks and Andreas Schreiber.

The match will be commentated by SBBF’s Head of Communications Henrik Schöldström and former squad Peter Theisz, a duo who commented on Swedish Basketball Television before.

Italy wins the team competition at Challenge Bernadotte

Congratulations to the Italian team with Enrico Garozzo, Alfredo Rota, Paolo Pizzo and Matthew Trager.

World cup competition for national teams at Challenge Bernadotte in Stockholm ended on Sunday afternoon. Italy beat Poland in a very dramatic final which had to be decided in sudden death. Poland stayed on top for a long while, despite having to substitute one fencer due to injury. After 7 of the 9 matches, Poland was in the lead  33-30. Enters Paolo Pizzo, a highly accomplished and intensive fencer who evens the score to 39-39. After the 9th and final match, the score was still tied; 41-41. In overtime Alfredo Rota made the final touch and wins the competition for Italy.

Late this afternoon the audience at Eriksdalshallen and 1300 persons watching the final live on Qrodo could celebrate a worthy winner. Jung Seung Hwa defeted Jörg Fiedler (ranked 2nd in the world) with 15-12. In the semi-finals Jung won over world’s number one, Gauthier Grumier. Congratulations!
